Just for kids

I am so in love with all these decals and idea from Mimi'lou in Paris, surtout le map de'monde. Muacks. You just gave me a really lovely idea of how I could decorate Dylan's room in the new place. D loves to look at the world map and you be surprise how perceptive kids are, he saw the little airplane symbols at different places and told me about it. So cool. Sometimes I find myself learning from him.You don't get to learn such things in the primary syllabus in Singapore. Till date, I am ignorant about certain countries because I did not get to travel much. I don't want to deprive D of that, so the only way is through books and pictures, and i think that decal is awesome. It may not be much, but it is in lined with what i want.--- a feature wall, and rich colors. *glee*

When we first moved in, I got these colored frames from IKEA-you can tell D's really young

I can't bear to throw away D's drawings, and thus used blue tacks to stick them on this particular wall, well it's filled up now..

Here comes phonics

Dear hubs got these done in black and white boards for another wall.... i placed the book shelf underneath. Now. i need a bigger shelf..

Charts in D's room, I am such a Singaporean mom eh.

Words on a cupboard , stuck with blue tack, once he knows how to read them, i take them down.
Some remain longer for revision

Looking for another suitable decal for the new house.

I love polaroids, pasted them all on another wall...

All of D's art work on another wall... FILLED UP TOO

Check out those sandpaper letters. D love them. I have another very good idea with painted handprints, IF I HAVE AN EMPTY WALL.
You know, I have a penchant for pasting words, phrases, charts all over the house. Every empty wall is taken up... D's bedroom is filled with chart. Don't worry, it's not overwhelming. We just believe, seeing something everyday, you will learn. Serves as a visual aid. and so.....
